Mother : The GOD in real world

The story is about a mother and the lies she says just for the sake of her children. Here is small story about a son, named Rakesh and his mother.

The story begins when Rakesh was a child. He was born poor. Often they didn't have enough to eat. Whenever they had some food, mother used to give him her portion of rice. While doing so, she would say "Eat this rice, son! I am not hungry".
This was her First lie.

As Rakesh grew, she gave up her spare time to fish in a river near the house. She hoped that this could give him a little bit more nutritious food for his growth. Once she had caught only 2 fishes, she would make fish soup. While Rakesh was eating the soup, mother would sit beside him and eat what was still left on the bone of the fish, Rakesh had eaten. His heart was touched when he saw it. Once Rakesh gave the other fish to her but she immediately refused it and said, "Eat this fish, son! I don't really like fish."
This was her Second lie.

Then, in order to fund his education, she went to a Match Factory to bring home some used matchboxes which she filled with fresh matchsticks. This helped her get some money to cover their needs. One wintry night he awoke to find his mother filling the matchboxes by candlelight. So he said, "Mother, go to sleep; it's late. You can continue working tomorrow morning." She smiled and said "Go to sleep, son! I'm not tired."
This was her Third lie.

When, Rakesh had to sit in his Final Examination, she accompanied him. After dawn, she waited for him for hours. When the bell rang, he ran to meet her. Mother embraced him and poured him a glass of water. Seeing his mother covered with sweat; he gave his glass and asked her to drink too. She said "Drink son, I am not thirsty!"
This was her Fourth lie.

After he had finished his studies and he got a job, it was time for his old Mother to retire but she carried on going to the market every morning just to sell a few vegetables. He kept sending her money but she always sent the money back to him. She said, "I have enough money."
This was her Fifth lie.

He continued his part-time studies for his Master's Degree. Funded by the American Corporation for which he worked, he succeeded in his studies. With a big jump in his salary, he decided to bring her to enjoy life in America but she didn't want to bother her son; she said to him "I'm not used to high living."
This was her Sixth lie.

In her old age, she was attacked by cancer and had to be hospitalized. Now living far across the ocean, he went home to visit her who was confined to bed after an operation. She tried to smile but he was heartbroken because she was so thin and feeble but Mother said, "Don't cry, son! I'm not in pain."
This was her Seventh lie.

M - O - T - H - E - R

"M" is for the Million things she gave me,
"O" means Only that she's growing old,
"T" is for the Tears she shed to save me,
"H" is for her Heart of gold,
"E" is for her Eyes with love-light shining in them,
"R" means Right, and right she'll always be.

Just respect her, it is the only thing she expects from all of us..

A small poem for friends

Friends are a treasure
Which is not lost but gained forever
Friends are always beside us in sorrow
And never leave us alone to suffer for tomorrow.
They are sometimes not with us at the time of happiness.
But we always feel them beside us as God's blessings
They are like a self image in the mirror
Who points our mistakes and corrects our error
They are God's beautiful present
Who never gives up till the end
They are sent by God on this earth
But are left for us to identify
And when we gain such a friend
It seems like we are flying in the sky
Friends are like a ship
Surrounded by the ocean of love
Life without them is very tough
Memories of childhood with friends are the best
It is as true as the sun rises in the East and sets in the West
So today is the day we should enjoy with our friends
Because who knows tomorrow where we are sent.
